A loose ring bit with a chain-style mouthpiece for greater control.
A Waterford bit has a chain-type mouthpiece with ball-shaped links joined together. It discourages fixing, blocking, and leaning on the bit. Add bit guards (item # 13740 or 13741) if you are concerned the corners might pinch.
Always wash a bit after each ride. Remove from bridle and soak in hot water. Use small brush to remove residue. Dry with clean towel.

Nobody should use such a denture. It is animal welfare and prevents a trusting cooperation of the horse.
Ever thought about the pain! That is not trust. You should not buy something like that!
This bit is amazing :) Worked awesome on my sensitive jump and worked at least as well on my strie wallet. :) 5 stars
I bought this bit on one of the 50% off sales, and am very pleased. It works wonderfully for my OTTB who likes to lean. I was concerned about pinching with the loose rings, but there have been no issues (I did order up 1/4" as that is standard for most waterford bits). I only wish they had it in a D-ring for my show bridle!
There needs to be a little more protection around the edges as it pinches the edges of the horses mouth. I have to use it with rubber rings!
