It is a good-quality cover and does not deny its origin (manufacturer of articles for horses). Of course it is designed for dogs with a protection that goes down between their front legs and whose grip goes up on each side of the rib cage to join and close with a hard plastic clip on the top of the back of the animal. It's adjustable, perfect and it does not float. I ordered a size 70 cm for my labrador who is a purebred very powerful physically. Adjustment level around the body is exactly what he needed (it is 87cm of thorax). It may seem a little long on the back (it happens to him behind the buttocks, on the beginning of the tail) but at least that way it is perfectly covered by very bad weather during walks.
