The Mullen mouth-styled pelham is a great option for horse's requiring additional leverage. This rubber-coated bit is gentle yet effective to improve head carriage and discourage leaning on the bit. Rubber bits are extra beneficial for sensitive horses because the mouthpiece is more flexible, and the rubber increases chewing and salivation.
