Description

The use of KERALIT Hoof Strengthener strengthens the horn and makes it much more durable. The horn is stabilized in the area of the white line, the bearing edge and the sole and becomes indigestible for harmful bacteria and fungi. The horn-decomposing pollutants, such as ammonia or hydrogen sulphide from the stable litter, are neutralized. The horn abrasion of bare-hoofed horses is greatly reduced. The hooves become significantly more resilient and stable. The shoes of shod horses sit more firmly, the nail holes no longer tear out. For tough and resistant horn, whether barehoofed or shod.

Features:

• Thoroughly clean the hoof with a hard, dry brush before application.
• For best results, apply to dry or slightly damp hooves for optimum absorption.
• For bare hoofed horses, apply to the lower third of the hoof wall, bearing edge and white line.
• For sensitive horses, also apply to the sole.
• For shod horses, apply to the lowest third of the hoof wall up to above the nail holes.
• Allow liquid to run under the shoe on shod horses to reduce decomposition processes in the white line.
• In acute cases daily application is possible, after improvement twice a week is sufficient.
• Apply once a week as a preventative measure.
