When measuring the bit size, always measure the length from the inside of one bit ring (or cheekpiece) to the inside of the opposite one. Make sure the bit is straightened. The thickness of the bit is always measured just inside the bit ring. When placed in the horse’s mouth, there should be max. 5mm (¼") play on either side of the bit.

A solid Baucher bit of stainless steel with a double-jointed mouthpiece.

The double-jointed Baucher bit is ideal for providing a bit of elevation to the horse in dressage and other uses. The reins attach to the larger rings and the cheek pieces to the smaller rings for proper fit. This solid, durable bit is crafted of fine stainless steel for years of no-rust use.
